Okay, so I was originally thinking about giving you a list of my favorite EPISODES, since individual podcasts are a bit overwhelming, but then I realized that my "list of absolutely favorites" is unfavorably long.
So I'll stick with the podcasts themselves, then you can read descriptions and listen to what best suits your interests. Now, I'm a bit into philosophy and humor; so these podcasts generally fall into one of both of these catagories (at least, they are all philosophical and wil get you thinking). Many of these hosts are authors, as well, and you can easily download one of their ebooks. Anyways, here is my (highly refined) list:
Duncan Trussell Family Hour - My absolute favorite, he’s creative and hilarious and deep (I just listened to him with Shane Mauss today, and started listening to him talking with Dr. Cole Martin, who did research with MDMA and PTSD, they were great and got me pumped).
Joe Rogan Experience - Really popular, comedian, he’s a genius and talks about pretty much everything, with pretty much everyone.
Waking Up with Sam Harris - He isn't funny, but super smart; he’s a neuroscientist and philosopher and his podcasts are really deep and I usually have to rewind often and write stuff down.
Tangentially Speaking/Christopher Ryan - Dope dude. He is a world traveler and talks a lot about human sexuality and the corruptness of civilization.
Here We Are/Shane Mauss - He is a sort of psychedelic comedian, works with MAPS, but combines that with interviewing scientists.
Pretty much anything with Graham Hancock, Chris Ryan, Duncan Trussell, Aubrey Marcus, Sam Harris, Dennis Mckenna (Terrance McKenna’s brother), Duncan Trussell even interviews Ram Dass… But especially Graham Hancock, this guy is a genius.
Wow uh, well, I should stop here, for now. Let me know what you think!
